Fresh produce is a great investment, and the Lakes Area Growers Market has started their season and will be offering up the best produce in the Brainerd Lakes Area.  They will be open on May 12th at the Franklin Arts Center on E. Washington St. in Brainerd from 8 AM until 12:30 PM.

                     Brainerd/Baxter Farmer's and the Nisswa Farmers Market We offer in-season Minnesota Grown fruits and vegetables like asparagus, peas, green beans, kohlrabi, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, cucumbers, sweet corn, cabbage, beets, carrots, onions, lettuce, garlic, tomatoes, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, strawberries, apples etc. 

In addition we offer spring bedding plants - such as heirloom tomato plants, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, cut flowers, wild rice, etc. This year we have added sixteen varieties of mushrooms & gouda goat cheese to the mix.

We also carry USDA inspected buffalo & beef. "And on a sweeter note" we offer honey, maple syrup, home made jams & jellies and lots of delicious home made baked goods.
