Iven's on the Bay: Happy Hour Review

We went to Iven's on the Bay last night for happy hour. The bar wasn't very busy when we arrived at 5pm, and they have a nice variety of tap beers of the half price type. I will be going back for the great service...we had three different people waiting on us and making sure we had full waters and were satisfied with our appetizers and drinks. My new favorite appetizer is the tempura fried mushrooms with truffle aioli washed down with a $2.50 ice cold, Surly Pale Ale tap beer. I will be going back to Iven's and reviewing their supper menu later this summer. You can find the Happy hour deals below:

Happy Hour6/1/2015

is in our “Martini Bar” from 4–6PM Monday through Saturday.  Enjoy ½ priced rail drinks, house wine and tap beers, as well as $2 off martinis and  margaritas on our drink list. Our $5, $6 and $7 Happy Hour Bar Menu will feature Salmon Sliders, Korean BBQ Chicken Wings, Duck Confit Nachos and so much more.

Our herb and vegetable garden is now in, with some herbs already being used. New items on the menu include:
Phyllo Crusted Sea Bass apple-raisin rum butter, roasted fingerling potatoes, pancetta
Grilled Marlin coconut scallion rice, charred pineapple salsa
Short Rib Pappardelle 12-hour braised short ribs, mushroom cream sauce, peas, truffle
Steak Frittes 6-oz. sirloin, parmesan-garlic fries, roasted garlic demi glace
Our Weekly Specials are: 
Tuesday: Pan-fried Walleye $14.95
Thursday: $5 Burger featured from 4–6PM
Friday: Prime Rib priced at $23.95 starting at 4PM until gone…
Saturday: Different “Chef’s” Choice every week
